Use our eco-friendly Swatch Service + ensure your playmat purchase is just right!
Order up to two samples of your favourite designs to try at home, then return them to us for refund.
- Choose Your Swatches – Select up to two swatches to experience the quality, softness + design of our playmats in your home. If you wish to add 2 samples, please toggle the button above Swatches.
- Try Them Out – Compare the colour + pattern against your interior decor, get hands on with the bounce back memory foam + feel the textured, durable surface, created for family life.
- Return + Refund – Our swatch service is designed to be sustainable. If you return your swatches within 30 days, we’ll reuse them for future customers and refund your swatch deposit, so the swatches were free!
- Find Your Perfect Fit – Once you've chosen your favourite reversible design, simply order your Totter + Tumble playmat with confidence.
*Please note, if you select a design with a border, you may receive a swatch from any part of the design. Please use the chat below if you need specific help.
Why Only 2 Swatches?
To make our Swatch Service as sustainable as possible, we limit the number of samples you can pick to two per order. Plus, only two fit in the envelope!
Swatch Shipping
Available within Mainland Europe, all swatch orders placed Monday-Friday will be shipped on a tracked service with either GLS or DHL within 24hours, apart from on Bank Holidays and should be with you within ten to fourteen working days from dispatch.
There is a handling fee of €10 per order which is non refundable.
Swatch Returns
We actively encourage swatch returns to keep our service running sustainably. Refunds are on condition of return within 30 days and are not linked to any order placed on a playmat. Swatches must be returned to our NL-based address, you are responsible arranging the return and all related costs. Please visit our Returns page for more information.

"The swatches are fantastic and a good size to be able to see the colours in your space and also the quality and texture of the rug. My reason for a four star is after a month I’m still waiting for some of the out of stock swatches to come into stock. I want to purchase while the £20 off offer is on but when the rugs are high priced I also want to make sure I’m making the right decision and don’t want to put de without seeing a swatch, I like the sustainability of sending back the swatches by the free post stickers but if this affects stock levels for so long maybe they need a larger stock of them?"
The new swatch service really
"The new swatch service really helped me in my decision as I was torn between two designs for ages! I already had a tot and tumble mat for 5 years but wanted to change the design, the product itself has lasted! I now use both of them in different rooms. My youngest is 4, but my daughter who is 6 with autism just loves playing on it. She loves the sensory input jumping on it gives her. It’s really been worth it for our family."

"I have returned my 2 swatches (to be in the prize draw) and have ordered and received my 2 new totter and tumble mats. The Mirah for my living room and the Kempton for the kitchen. I love them both, and so does everyone who visits."

Swatches to help choose our second mat
"We got swatches to help us decide on our mat. We got our first totter and tumble mat this time last year as a present before our first baby arrived. Baby is now 8months old and we’ve purchased our second mat after using the swatch service. They were delivered quickly and were easy to return - popping them back into the same envelope and putting straight into the postbox, attached the sticker provided. They did however come back to us fist time around, as with the extra customs labels for NI I didn’t think to cross out my address 🙈 We’re only delighted with both totter and tumble mats, both looking brand new. They are amazing for comfort and warmth and great for baby to roll and play on."

- Curious on how the mats perform/lay on extremely plush carpet? Looking at this as an alternative to rug on carpet and want to know if this is something you would recommend in a nursey.
- Hi there! Our mats are suitable for all flooring types, however, you may see movement on a very plush/new carpet likewise on laminate or flooring without a grain/texture. That said, the weighty memory foam means they won't really slide around like lightweight playmats can, but there could be some movement. Hope that helps.

I really want to see more than 2 options!
In order to be sustainable + keep our service running smoothly, we limit swatches to two per order, however, if you would like to see more, you can place another order or utilize our Design Guide.
The swatch I want is out of stock, when will you get more?
We actively encourage returns + once they are returned to us, they are put back ino stock as soon as possible. If your favourite design is currently unavailable, it should be back very soon.
Can I choose my own pairing of designs
Our playmats are already in their fixed pairs, unfortunately you are not able to customise which design you have on each side.
How can I return the swatches for my refund?
Please post them back to our NL based warehouse! You can find the address on our Returns page.
Swatch returns are usually processed within 5 working days and refunded back onto the original payment method shortly after this.
